Pass the Book

Reader’s Pick

Posted in 1 by passthebook on December 3, 2009

We plan to repeat Pass the Book in 2010, and hope that more libraries in the Durham Region will join us.

The biggest challenge in planning this program was choosing a title.  If it was up to you, which book would be your choice for a community-wide reading program?

The Oshawa and Whitby Public Libraries invite you to Pass the Book

Posted in Home by passthebook on December 1, 2009

This community-wide read program held at the same time in each community, is designed to encourage community discussion through people reading the same story.

Both libraries, Oshawa and Whitby, chose a book for their respective communities to read in 2009.  Check out the discussion groups and programming the libraries offered related to the books.  And don’t forget to complete our poll!
