The Oshawa and Whitby Public Libraries invite you to Pass the Book
This community-wide read program held at the same time in each community, is designed to encourage community discussion through people reading the same story.
Both libraries, Oshawa and Whitby, chose a book for their respective communities to read in 2009. Check out the discussion groups and programming the libraries offered related to the books. And don’t forget to complete our poll!

I loved this book! It was a real page-turner. Really didn’t want the story to end. I especially loved the ending!

Water for Elephants was an amazing can’t put down book. Not too many books like these out there, and the ending left me wanting more.
